Chile & Antarctica, Day 2: Thank Goodness for the Holiday Inn

We caught the 8:00 AM shuttle to the airport and ate breakfast there.

Our first flight was to Panama, departing at 10:49 AM.

We had a long enough lay-over there to grab some food, so we made a hodge-podge meal of broccoli cheese soup, fried cheese, and Cinnabon. :-P

Our flight out of Panama was late. We were scheduled to leave at 3:44 PM, but we ended up departing about an hour late, which made our scheduled arrival time of 12:07 AM even later.  The time difference was two hours ahead of Eastern time.

The only redeeming point was that we had booked a room in the Holiday Inn that was literally right across the street from the airport.
