Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair lotion contains a specially designed blend of glycerin to pull moisture into all layers of the skin as well as healing micro-droplets of Vaseline jelly. It is clinically proven to moisturize very dry skin on the first application.
Application: This was a very thick lotion, so it could feel a bit sticky after application. Besides the bottle of lotion, my Influenster box also came with a tester strip so you could identify your skin dryness level. My "before" strip indicated that I was slightly dry, and when I used the "after" strip a few days later, there was a slight improvement. I regularly use moisturizer and I tested my arm near my elbow, so I wasn't surprised that my skin wasn't considered to be very dry.
Verdict: Being such a thick lotion, this makes it ideal for use in the winter. We just had our first (of many, I'm sure!) snowfalls, and I'm sure the cold, dry weather of winter is only just beginning. The lotion is fragrance-free, so this is great if you have sensitive skin or if you are concerned about its scent clashing with other beauty products.
