October 2014 Glossybox Review
Glossybox is a beauty subscription service that sends subscribers a monthly box with ~five deluxe-sized beauty products. The box itself retails for $21 per month, but you can subscribe to a plan that bills you every three, six, or twelve months, which brings the monthly cost down to $20, $19.17, or $18.33, respectively. They provide the best presentation I have seen in a monthly subscription service with high-quality brands bundled in a a sturdy box! The October Glossybox was all about the "feel-good factor", featuring day-brightening beauty essentials.
Tarte Power Pigment in Flush, Value: $24.00 [Full-size]
This lip tint is fairly creamy, despite drying to a matte finish. While it is much more forgiving than other matte lip products, I would still recommend exfoliating your lips prior to application.
Proganix Repair Reparative Oil + Anti-Breakage, $11.99 [Full-size]
This hair oil had a light, pleasant fragrance. It was easy to apply, and I've been using it daily since it arrived.
Nails Inc. Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat, $10.00 [Full-size]
I have tried matte top coat before and had a very unsatisfactory experience - not sure if it was the brand or the vendor. This top coat was SO MUCH better.
Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum, $5.74 [$78.00 for 3.4 oz; sample: 0.25 oz]
I didn't open this one yet - it was so cute, I thought it would make for a great gift!
Sesha Cell-White Brightening Mask, $9.00 [One mask]
This was a very wet sheet mask that adhered to my face decently well.
Total Value: $60.73
