Let's Celebrate with Cake
What better way to celebrate than with Tres Leches Cake?!
I swear, this is like my favorite cake EVER. The recipe makes a pretty good-sized cake, but I'm sure we'll have no trouble polishing it off. ;-) It somehow strikes the perfect balance between being a light and heavy dessert and has just the right amount of creamy sweetness.
But what am I celebrating anyway? Well, I wrapped up my three-week "diet". That certainly calls for cake, right?! Plus, it is the first day of Spring. And me and the husband are celebrating our FIVE-year anniversary this week. And he has another job interview lined up in Michigan. I guess there's a lot to celebrate...so bring on the cake! (And please, please bring on the engineering job offers!!)
