Use: I decided to treat my left armpit, so I could make comparisons as I go through the treatment process. You are supposed to start with clean, shaven skin, so I tried this right after a shower. I read through the instruction booklet and attempted to use this product, but I wasn't sure exactly what to do. I recruited my engineer husband, but he wasn't very successful either. He left to go pick up lunch and I went to search for Youtube videos that instructed on what you were supposed to do. I still couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, but I went back in the bathroom to give it another try.

This time, I stepped into the bedroom where it was a little brighter and put the device in position. This time there was a flash of light and a small pop sound. This is a good thing. I didn't feel anything really. Does light in the room impact effectiveness?

Well, yes. I actually just read through the FAQs, and it says "Sometimes the skin sensor can be affected by the room in which you are treating. Treatments in a dark room or a room with a bright light (such as lamps and vanities) can cause the warning light to turn on. This is a result of a shadow being cast on your skin, making it appear darker than it really is. To prevent this from happening, treat in moderate lighting."

I started with one of the lower energy levels since it was my first treatment, but I will definitely lean toward the higher energy levels going forward to ensure the fastest results.

Verdict: Obviously, it's too soon to know whether this product works, so I will be testing it out going forward. "Treatment sessions with Silk'n Flash&Go should be spaced every two weeks for the first three to four sessions. After that, treatments should be done if hairs have grown back and until the desired results are achieved. The total number of sessions varies from person to person, but in general, most individuals notice a reduction after four treatments, with very good results after six treatments. Most females require eight full sessions. Males tend to have more stubborn and deeper hair and may require ten to twelve treatments."

It's probably wishful thinking, but I think I've already started noticing decreased hair growth!
