Eat.Sleep.Polish.

I won a fabulous prize from Eat.Sleep.Polish., as hosted by ColorSutraa. My reward was a promo code that provided for a $30 discount on my order. After browsing her shop, I of course was having a difficult time narrowing down my options. I mentioned this in my message to her, and she was kind enough to throw in the other polish I had been interested in. Gotta love awesome indie polish makers!

My first choice was Poseidon, a blue jelly linear holographic polish with micro holo glitter.
Application was fine, and it's a really gorgeous blue that strikes a nice balance of bright and deep. I did experience tip wear relatively quickly, but that's not very uncommon with jelly polishes.
Next I had my eye on some Nail Vinyls (Tropical Flowers and Meow Mix). I've never used nail vinyls before so I was curious to try them out. I had enough funds for either nail vinyls or another nail polish, so I went with the vinyls to try something new.
I haven't tried the Meow Mix yet, but I did use the Tropical Flowers in a recent mani using the Ciate Cha Cha Cha Mini Paint Pot that came in my August Beauty Bar Sample Society box.
There are instructions on the Eat.Sleep.Polish. website for apply nail vinyls, and the process is fairly easy. For the flowers, it took a little extra effort to weed out the center, but all in all, it's a simple way to add personality to your nails. Removal was okay, no worse than removing glitter polish, at any rate!
The other polish I had expressed interest in was Bruised Her Soul, a dark plummy burgundy color.
This looks like a gorgeous fall color, and I'm so thrilled that Caterina ended up including this polish as well! Good application and decent wear, although I did experience some slight tip wear fairly early on.
All in all, these were some really great nail products from Eat.Sleep.Polish. She has a good selection of nail vinyls along with some fun nail colors - definitely worth checking out! Click here to visit her shop.
