Ulta Beauty Cleanse & Hydrate Try Me Skin Care Sampler
I've always been more of Sephora gal, but I recently scored an Ulta haul that definitely could leave me a convert. I purchased the Cleanse & Hydrate Try Me Skin Care Sampler, which is no longer available on the website. This was $9.99 for a $30 value. Check out the items + a brief review below!
Jergens Wet Skin Body Moisturizer with Nourishing Monoi Oil, $1.60 [$7.99 for 10 oz; sample size: 2 oz]
I've used this kind of product before - you apply in the shower after cleansing and turning off the water. This sample had a pleasant, vaguely floral fragrance, and it smoothed on easily. My only concern is whether this might leave any residue on my towel when I dry off, so I tend to only use it on the days I plan to retire my current bath towel anyway.
La Roche-Posay Micellar Cleansing Water and Makeup Remover for Sensitive Skin, $2.50 [$19.99 for 13.5 oz; sample size: 1.69 oz]
I found that this was okay at removing make-up before washing, but I've tried better.
CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, $3.50 [$13.99 for 12 oz; sample size: 3 oz]
This is definitely a brand I've heard good things about from a dermatological perspective, so I'm always happy to have these kinds of skin products around. This one had no fragrance, so that might be key if you have any sensitivities.
Pacifica Kale Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash, $1.00 [$10.00 for 5 oz; sample size: 0.5 oz]
I've never been a huge fan of the Pacifica brand. This face product oddly smelled like a cocktail - maybe a bit gin and tonic-ish? I seriously kept checking the ingredients list to try and identify what I kept smelling. It was clear - not kale green, like I expected - and it sudsed up easily.
Ulta Sensitive Skin Facial Cleansing Towelettes, $1.20 [$6.00 for 25-ct.;sample size: 5-ct.]
Products like these are great for travel, so I decided not to open this one for now and risk the towelettes drying out.
No7 Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multi-Action Serum, $5.38 [$33.99 for 1.01 oz; sample size: 0.16 oz]
This serum smells really nice. I used it both in the AM and PM, and I recommend using a thin layer during the day if you plan to layer make-up on over it.
TOTAL VALUE: $15.18
Well, isn't that something? This is not actually a $30 value - it's actually much more like HALF that! I paid ~$10.00, so at least I still got my money's worth!
