February 2016 GLOSSYBOX Review
I was disappointed that the "Love is in the Air" box didn't ship out until after Valentine's Day given that it was a special edition for the holiday.
Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Heat Wave Ruby, $22.00
The packaging for this lipstick was really urban and cute, but I swatched it on my hand, and it just looked way too dark for my skin tone.
GLAMGLOW ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser, $7.80 [$39.00 for 5 oz; sample size: 1 oz]
When you first dispense this, it has kind of a sandy mud color, but it is dry and almost invisible when you apply to face. It has the faintest coconut/almond fragrance. Once you add water, it forms a gentle lather.
BioRepublic Skincare Sheet Mask, $5.00 [One mask]
This single-use sheet mask had a light, fruity fragrance. Most of these BioRepublic masks call for you to leave the mask on for about 20 minutes and then remove the sheet and push the excess into your skin. After doing this, my skin felt slightly tacky, which I didn't like.
Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll-On Caviar Eye Gel, $30.60 [$45.00 for 0.5 oz; sample size: 0.34 oz]
This eye gel is applied by pressing the metal, rolling ball around your eyes, so this has kind of a cooling sensation. It's a clear gel, with a light, slightly fruity fragrance.
Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Face Primer, $4.13 [$31.00 for 0.75 oz; sample size: 0.1 oz]
This primer is light tan in color with a slight perfumed fragrance. Application varied - I found that sometimes it smoothed on easily, and sometimes it pilled on my skin. It might depend on what other products you use underneath this. However, for my skin type, I prefer a mattifying primer.
Total Value: $69.53
