Chile & Antarctica, Day 10: Bummin' Around Punta Arenas

After taking advantage of a large, hot breakfast buffet, we had the whole day at our disposal to explore Punta Arenas.  It was a chilly, overcast day, which made it a good day for walking.
We walked 1.5 km to the Cemetery of Punta Arenas, ranked by CNN as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world.
These meticulously sculpted cypress trees were really a sight to behold!
After our walk around the cemetery, we realized that a Sunday was a really bad day to have downtime in a city the size of Punta Arenas. Everything was closed!

We went on a hunt to find a restaurant called Chocolatta that we had found online and left full of cake, mochacinno, and a handful of fudge.
I went to check on my birds at the beach, but two dogs had set up post along the shore. :P
For dinner, we ended up at Mesita Grande Pizzeria, where we shared la calzone chilena, pan de ajo, and a small pisco sour.
Definitely a low-key day, but it was kind of nice to have a break!
